Check It Out: Going Bovine by Libba Bray

The American Library Association has named the novel Going Bovine the annual Michael L. Printz Award winner for 2010. This award is given to an excellent teen book from the past year. And lucky for you, the Forest Park Public Library has it ready for you to check out.


Here's a summary: Cameron Smith, a disaffected sixteen year-old who, after being diagnosed with Creutzfeld Jakob's (aka mad cow) disease, sets off on a road trip with a death-obsessed video gaming dwarf he meets in the hospital in an attempt to find a cure.
