Breaking News: New Twilight Book!

This is the biggest Twilight news in years! A new Twilight installment is going to be released on June 5. The new novella entitled The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner will be from newborn vampire Bree Tanner's point of view. It will give inside information about the vampire war that happens during Eclipse. Stephanie Meyer wrote this narrative while writing the third installment to help her get a feel for the other side of the story. While preparing for the Eclipse movie, the screenwriter, director and actors all wanted to read it too.

The book will be released at midnight on June 5, but will be available online from June 7 to July 5 at www.breetanner.com. Another great thing about the book is that $1 of every book purchase will go to the Red Cross to help the relief efforts in Haiti and Chile. Who knew vampires could be so helpful? For more information, go to Stephanie Meyer's website.

Anne Frank: New Book, New Movie

Anne Frank, a Jewish teenager, whose incredible diary showed the world a first hand observation of the Holocaust, is continuously being studied. In a new book entitled Anne Frank, her life in words and pictures, new images and information are available to the public. The book contains new images of Anne, her family's hiding place and her diary. This is a wonderful book for anyone touched by Anne's story.

To commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day, PBS is showing a new movie version of The Diary of Anne Frank on April 11. (The entire movie can also be seen online.) This depiction promises to be the most accurate adaptation of Anne's diary to date. Visit PBS' Anne Frank page for more information on the movie and Anne herself.
