Pretty Little Liars-The TV Show!

Pretty Little Liars, the fantastically fun and suspenseful book series, is now being made into a tv series for ABC Family. If you are a fan of Gossip Girl or The Clique, Pretty Little Liars is definitely something to check out on the small screen or at the library. Here's a short recap:

Rosewood is filled with privileged girls like Alison, Spencer, Emily, Aria, and Hanna. These five friends are bound together by a horrible secret until the summer after seventh grade, when Alison goes missing. Now in high school, each of the remaining girls has a new secret. They think that no one knows about these things, until all four of them begin to get mysterious notes, e-mails, and text messages from someone by the name of A. The girls believe that Alison is back and ready to divulge their deepest darkest secrets. Is Alison alive? Who is sending these messages and what do they want.

The Mystery Writers of America recently announced the winner of the prestigious Edgar Award, named in honor of the creepiest writer of all , Edgar Allen Poe.
