Eclipse Is Almost Here!

It's finally time! Bella is back with the Cullens and the werewolf pack to battle evil vampires in Eclipse on Wednesday, June 30.

To prepare for this movie event, we will be celebrating with our own Twilight movie marathon and trivia. Stop by the library at 1 p.m. to watch Twilight or at 3 p.m. to catch New Moon. After the movies, test your Twilight knowledge with a trivia game to win tickets to see Eclipse. Who knows the most about Edward, Jacob, Bella and Forks?

Love Twilight?

If you are a Twi-hard who has read the saga more times than you can count, you have to check out this new series. Shiver is the first book of a trilogy that tells the tale of Grace and Sam. Grace was saved by Sam in his werewolf form when she was a little girl. Now they meet as teenagers and fall in love. But Sam only has a few seasons left until he will turn into a werewolf forever.

I Can't Believe You Ate That!

Our Fear Factor Food Challenge was amazing! I can't believe all the brave kids out there. They ate SPAM sundaes, pickled beets, baby food, spaghetti Os and maple syrup. GROSS!!! Check out the slide show below to see the contestants and the amazing food.

How Brave Are You?

Do you like food? Prove it! On Thursday, June 10, the YS Dept. will be holding its very own Food Fear Factor event. We are looking for brave volunteers to compete. How do you feel about eating baby food? Think you could handle cold spaghetti Os and maple syrup? This event is intended for ages 10 and up. Even if you don't have the stomach to participate, feel free to come and cheer on your friends. Reserve you spot here.

School is officially out and you know what that means: SUMMER READING! This summer our theme is SCARE UP A GOOD READ. That means we will be featuring all your favorite scary, creepy and fun books and movies throughout the summer. To find out more about the program, stop by Saturday, June 5 to register.
