James Patterson has two new books coming out soon.  They are both continuations of two of his popular series: Witch & Wizard and Maximum Ride.  Look for these titles at the library in the coming months!

The Gift, the second installment of Witch & Wizard, is coming out in December. The book description says:  "Whit and Wisty have established themselves as leaders of the Resistance, willing to sacrifice anything to save kids kidnapped and brutally imprisoned by the New Order. But the One has other plans in store for them: He needs Wisty, for she is "The One Who Has the Gift.""

The seventh book in the Maximum Ride series is available in February 2011.  Angel picks up where they left off:   Evil scientists are still trying to convince Max that she needs to save the world, this time by providing the genetic link in speeding up the pace of evolution. Worse, they're trying to convince her that her perfect mate is Dylan, the newest addition to the flock. While Fang travels the country collecting his own gang of evolved humans, but the two separate flocks must unite to defeat a frightening doomsday cult whose motto is Save the Planet: Kill the HumansAnd this time, the true heroine, for once, might just be little Angel.
